Almofada Zhongguo Cun - Chinese Village Throw Pillow

Zhongguo Cun - Chinese Village is painting of a Chinese village in summer time. Painted in traditional Chinese free style technique Xie Yi with Chinese water color on rice paper. This one is without the originally calligraphy. Using the old and traditional painting techniques, I tried to compose this village in a modern impressionism style. Using limited colors and strokes. Old houses in hilly lndscapes, hope you can feel the heat over the green rice fields. When I traveled through the Chinese countrieside, sometimes I felt transported back to past centuries. You can still find here simplicity and peace.
