2023 Annular Solar Eclipse

The next major American solar eclipse is the annular solar eclipse on Saturday, October 14, 2023. It will begin in the Pacific Ocean and and enter the United States over Oregon and travel Southeast through Nevada, Utah, Arizona New Mexico and Texas before continuing through South America. During the annular solar eclipse in these states, the Sun will appear as a “ring of fire” with an orange glow surrounding a dark orb, which is the Moon. In areas not directly in the path of the annular eclipse and other states, a partial solar eclipse will be visible.
