Armstrong Scottish Border Clan's Castle Gifts

The mighty Armstrong family / clan who lived in the border area between Scotland and England during the turbulent centuries were rightly named for their strength and size. They were often employed as security by the opposing factions. They were also Border Reivers, bandits and renegades. plundering and pillaging on both sides of the border with allegiance to no one. Gilnockie was long home to the clan, but only the tower remains. It houses the Armstrong museum and is open to the public. ClanCastles uses two paintings to represent this ancient family. From https://gilnockietower.co.uk/: "a 16th century Scots Tower House, located between Canonbie and Langholm, adjacent to the Border Esk river on A7 Carlisle to Edinburgh route. A recently repaired, rubble built, 5 storey residence that allegedly supported the nefarious activities of many organised crime syndicates, extending back in time over 500 years." When the family plaid tartan is used in a product's design, it is under Crown Copyright, courtesy of The Scottish Register of Tartans. Wonderful gifts for anyone of the Armstrong name of a descendant of the ancient Scottish Clan Armstrong.
