Cameron Clan's Achnacarry Castle in Scotland Gifts
Members of the ancient Scottish Cameron Clan may enjoy a modern family heritage product created with a photo of the ancient clan's castle or great home. Trendy or traditional, there are stylish Clan Cameron and Achnacarry Castle gifts for men, women and kids. The modern Cameron Scottish Clan’s chief, Donald Cameron of Lochiel, occupies the longtime home, Achnacarry Castle, in Scotland, located on an isthmus between Loch Lochy to the east, and Loch Arkaig to the west. The castle is not open to the public, but visitors are welcome at a nearby museum. The original Achnacarry Castle was constructed by Sir Ewen Cameron of Lochiel about 1655, then destroyed by government troops following the Battle of Culloden. The current castle is in the Scottish Baronial style. It was built near the site of the original castle in 1802. The estate was used for Commando training during World War II.
