Cape Verdean Inspired Abstract Illustrations

Cape Verde is one of my greatest sources of inspiration. Born and raised here, I grew up hearing Kriolu (our Creole language), eating katxupa (our national dish), and living every day among people who shine with joy. I remember simentera — planting season — and waiting for the rains that turn this island truly green. The mountains, the beaches, the music: this is Cape Verde, a jewel in the middle of the Atlantic that made me who I am.
