Clover

The historic brick school house where I live and work is named "Cloverleaf", and purple clover readily grows all around it. This piece was begun in monoprint acrylics- outside, where I could get the colors just right. Those were then scanned and digitally composed. What I love about working in this way are the playful textures and organic variation in color...yet the opportunity to spend plenty of time on composition.
