They can be found all over the World in prestigous buildings such as the Empire State in New York and the Lamb & Flag Pub in Stockingford. The factory closed down in the late 1960s and has now returned to nature. If you walk around the site today you can still find evidence of the industrial processing of clay into bricks and tiles amongst the woody copses, ponds and pathways.
