Holly Berry French Blue

A blue and white Christmas, which is the older way to do it: eighteenth century printers worked in indigo because it was the dye that survived washing. Green holly and white berries run in columns on a soft French blue ground, with a braided cord stripe between them. Wrapping paper, tissue, tags and a gift bag for the giving. Tablecloth, runner, napkins and a kitchen towel for the table. A tote, a notebook and a card for the rest of it. The blue is why the set still works in January.
