Honoring Juneteenth 1865-Celebrating Freedom

Juneteenth also known as Freedom Day, Jubilee Day, is a holiday that commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States. This design celebrates the Juneteenth (Short for "June Nineteenth") of 1865, African American History and Heritage, when Union soldiers announced the end of slavery in Texas, two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed.
