Jagged Pulse

The collection serves as a visceral transcript of emotional conflict. The work documents a mind caught in the friction between the heat of what was and the cold reality of what is now. The Palette: The deep crimsons represent the lingering life of the passion, while the heavy blacks and grays symbolize the finality and "void" of the heartbreak. The Movement: The scraped, horizontal textures mirror the repetitive, grinding nature of grief. It represents the act of trying to layer over the pain, even when the original color keeps bleeding through. The Progression: Together, the five pieces document a cycle. They move from the initial shock of an open wound to a more fragmented, structured state of mind where the experience is being processed and integrated. These works are the physical manifestation of a pulse that hasn't stopped, but has fundamentally changed its rhythm.
