Magnolia Memories

As a young boy, I would often admire a print by artist, Vesty Rich, in a gold frame that hung on one of my Grandma Kingdom's walls. The painting showed three magnolia flowers on the one stem resting on a dreamy turquoise surface which mirrored the magnolia sprig. Ever since, magnolias have held a special place in my heart - reminding me of someone I loved very much. I couldn't resist using similar colours when painting magnolia flowers with one of my adult watercolour classes. I hope you will be blessed by this image and that it may stir up fond memories of your own.
