Mughal Design

This design collection is based on a painting by me, that is inspired by the beauty of a sculpture on the wall of a Mughal monument in Agra, India. Two largely used building materials by Mughals were white marble and red sandstone. Hence the painting is paper white with watery gray tones that depict the shades and shadows of a three dimensional sculpture. On some products I have also used a flat tone of dusty red to depict the red sandstone. This painting has been carefully formatted on a few appropriate products e.g. wallpaper, ceramic tiles etc. The Mughals are long gone but with this design you can enjoy the elegance and charm of a bygone era in today's modern world.
