My Unseen Companion

Sometimes, along life's ever-winding road, it seems that we are alone, forgotten or abandoned. Our view is obscured by various mists and fog and our minds are full of cloud. And yet, if we truly pause to listen, we may hear footsteps, a breath, a whisper and realise that we have an unseen companion. I created this pen and ink drawing, inspired by much-loved stories from my childhood, as a visual reminder to myself that One far greater than me, in every respect, is my constant, though often unseen, companion and I am never truly alone. My Protector, Provider, Comforter, Friend and King is ever with me - ever watching over me - and ever delighting in me. May this image, drawn from the heart, be a great encouragement to you too.
