SUGARSKULL NIRVANA I designed for both Halloween and Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead or All Souls Day in Mexico) which is a joyful holiday that celebrates the memory of those who have departed. I love how cheerful this design turned out featuring a "sugarskull" Chow and his equally happy buddy , Carl the Chameleon. An Aztec sun is heating up the autumn desert in preparation for the upcoming fall festivities!! 🩷💙🧡🩵❤️💜🩷💙🧡🩵❤️💜🩷💙🧡🩵❤️💜 Traditionally, sugar skulls are created as ornamental gifts during Día de los Muertos. Unlike the scary skulls and skeletons associated with Halloween, these festive skulls represent the departed souls in the circle of life as a time to celebrate their lives.
