Dorraine Burrell's quote "Honor our Past with an Eye to the Future" and the photo of Shannon Richards motivated Alitza Pia to design a collection comprising of our commUNITY's beach haven and celebrating the importance of African-Americans' continuous flourishing future while keeping the history in mind.
