Who’s Afraid of a Billion Cicadas?

Two different broods of cicadas emerge this year at the same time, resulting in a cacophony of mating calls that sound like a loud buzzing to us. It’s enough to drive you crazy… unless you can avoid the Midwest USA or wear sound cancelling headphones. We can handle it for a few weeks or whatever, right? How bad can they bug us?
