I am a painter, photographer, illustrator and writer. Sketchy Dog Designs started with a drawing challenge. The original purpose was to warm up my art muscles for the day and to spark my creativity. The sketches turned out to be perfect for unique home decor and clothing for women and children. My original dream as a young girl was to be a illustrator of books. My path lead me to creating fine art; which I love to do. Each fine art piece comes with its own story. So, in a way, I have already been realizing my illustrator dream. Sketchy Dog entered my life about a year ago, by happen stance, and now I am in a position to further realize my illustrator dreams by illustrating and writing my own children's books with Sketchy Dog as the main character. A children's book of Sketchy Dog's adventures is coming soon... In the meantime, I have created some designs that can be enjoyed on home decor items and pieces of clothing that I will continue to add to as Sketchy Dog continues his daily adventures and antics.
