The Art of John N. Stewart

Semi retired but active in the arts and music. Have touched on many different facets of the arts including working for 25 years painting portraits, scenic art and production illustration for the Hollywood film business. I also have done editorial and product illustration and some limited edition prints. Musically, I've played piano since the age of seven and still play gigs around town. I lean heavily towards jazz and love the great old tunes of Cole Porter, Gershwin and Sondheim. Jazz pianists that I favor are George Shearing, Bill Evans, Errol Garner, Keith Jarrett and Marion MacPartland.
