I first learned about the existence of Scottish wildcats when I read Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging and just had to look up whether there was such a thing or not, so I owe some credit to Louise Rennison. There are an estimated 400 full-bred Scottish wildcats left; it would be great to bring that number up! I am not from Scotland and therefore have 0 access to Scottish wildcats for photographic purposes. All photos used with permission of the photographers. I intended all royalties from this store to go to the Scottish Wildcat Association. I couldn't get the store set up to pay directly to the association, so I had to set it up to send payment to me, so I could send it to the Scottish Wildcat Association. Organizational changes led to my sending payment to Wildcat Haven in advance of this store earning that amount. When the store reaches the full amount for a royalty payment with no extra processing fee, I plan to close it, because I can't guarantee the structures of the charities or even my ability to send them further payment. I wish the process had been easier, because I really did (and do) want to help the wildcats.
