The freedom inherent in doodles is akin to the freedom of a child’s kindergarten painting: simple, direct, and unencumbered by innocence or savage honesty. Most of Larry's drawings started as distracted doodles on a section of newspaper or a handy napkin. These doodles were then enlarged, printed, and embellished, all while preserving the spontaneity of the original pen-to-paper creation.
