Hey y'all!!!!! Yes, I would absolutely say that if I were to meet you in person! My name is Tracy, and I am the owner of Southern Tees and Things. I am from a small town in the Deep South where we love football, Jesus, and sweet tea. I say yes ma'am, no ma'am, yes sir, no sir, and bless your heart (which can mean 100 different things in and of itself). Going ahead and saying it, I am an educator. I AM AN EDUCATOR!!!! For the past 4 years, I have worked as a Kindergarten thru 5th grade special education teacher. Yes, I teach students with special needs, in 6 different grades, all on different learning levels ranging from pre-k to 4th grade. I absolutely love my job and enjoy the kids I have the pleasure of working with. Before I became a teacher, I worked at Michaels Arts and Crafts for 7 years as a customer experience manager. It was at Michaels that I really got my first taste of using creativity to produce things, which has helped me tremendously in decorating my classroom and coming up with fun activities for my students. It is also where my love for hand-making things was founded. I especially zeroed in on the Cricut section, and became the go-to person for customers to ask me about them. In having to answer their questions, I learned a whole arsenal of information that became the basis of Southern Tees and Things. Now, I use my own personal cutting machines to design things such as shirts, wine glasses, and mugs. In addition, I am continuing my creative learning to further my ability to add glitz and glam to any and everything, so be on the lookout for badge reels and stainless steel tumblers coming soon! Managing this business is something that I enjoy doing, and I cannot wait to share my craft with you.
