I have always enjoyed illustrating, and I love simple sketchy/doodle styles. I find it therapeutic. One day I was having a conversation with a friend who was feeling particularly down, and doubting herself as a mum. I came up with my first design (will be on Zazzle ‘there is no perfect way to be a mummy) when doodling out a design for a card for her, and realised that it made me smile. I realised that children have such a way of making you happy and forgetting your adult woes for a while. Bringing both doodle sketch and this together seemed like the perfect antidote to sadness, and strengthener to joy. I have continued to come up with this style of design since!
