Bloomfield's Closet

The mission of Captain Bloomfield’s Company of the 3rd New Jersey Regiment, 1776, nicknamed the “Jersey Grays,” is to recreate this company as accurately as possible using available documentation and ongoing research combined with the spirit and enthusiasm that embodied and embraced the “cause of liberty.” Through interpretation, the company and all of its members honor the soldiers who comprised the original company by educating fellow Americans about the story and sacrifice of these Continental Army soldiers as well as their wives, companions and children.
