Jamie House (JH), also known by the alias Bru via the internet and friends, was born and still resides in Central California with her family and two pure bred pitbulls who serve as muses in their own right. She first realized at a very young age that she saw things much differently than most of her peers. While some did projects in full color, and other's didn't even bother with it, she enjoyed experimenting with things of a more muted nature. Blunt lines were obvious and color was predictable, where as the watered down and in between seemed more interesting. Thus started her interest in art and creation. She went from crayons, to pencil, to doodles in pen and on some occassions her eyeliner pencil. Photography came in the peak of her teenage years, and on its coat-tails came photo-manipulation and digital art. It wasn't until she was in her early twenties that she found a love for painting. Now, she dabbles in all mediums and has chosen to be fearless in all of her artistic ventures. Color is the present. Black and white was the past. Grey Matter - is the future.
