The Avuvi Project

The Avuvi Project is a group of basenji dog lovers owning and/or importing native dogs from Benin, West Africa. It supports extensive health & genetic testing of all the dogs registered in the Project & promotes greater understanding & appreciation of native canids everywhere but especially central Africa. The Project products are aimed at raising funds for trips to Benin to study, film, photograph, DNA sample village dogs, and import puppies for new breeding stock.
