Cherko Country started back in 2014 when its founder Adam Cherko moved back home to Westchester NY after spending nearly 3 years learning the art of Line Dancing from one of the greatest in the industry, Dan Albro, of The Mishnock Barn. In Cherko Country, we never forget that everyone starts on the dance floor as a beginner. The rest of the dancers are there to dance and learn, not criticize others' dancing abilities. Clear and consistent instruction can teach anyone to love the art of line dancing. We know that the more we can encourage others to try and continue to practice counting their 8-counts and dancing through to the end, week in and week out, we will all have more friends to dance with. Line dancing is great for the mind, body and soul, and here in Cherko Country, we know that for a fact. We choreograph when we hear the right songs that move us. We Instruct weekly events in Westchester County NY and Fairfield County CT. Private and Public events and parties. We love to collaborate with other Choreographers, Instructors and Artists or bands.
