I am a mosaic artist, primarily. Most of my income is from commissions in homes, businesses and public art, with occasional gallery shows. But I have also developed a passion for papercutting, which is something I can easily pack for trips or work on when I can't be in the studio. I have a body of work that is cut from paper, often using the wycinanki technique of folding paper, so that a symmetrical image is revealed when unfolded. I've begun showing and selling this work, and have recently had one cut from metal for a public art project. These have a lot of potential, both for being cut from various materials, or simply printed onto totes, pillows, decals, etc.
