CottonTree Friends

We are CottonTree, and you are our Friends! All the proceeds of CottonTree sales will be going to an education fund to help kids go to college in Freetown, Sierra Leone, in West Africa. You probably already know about the 10 year civil war in Sierra Leone that crippled its infrastructure and killed/mamed many of its people. The war officially ended in 2002, but it's taking a long time for the country to rebuild itself and the children face an uncertain future after highschool because of a newfound poverty that wasn't necessarily there before the war. So we're looking to help out in some small way to ensure the future of Sierra Leone is full of bright and highly educated people to help guide it through the reformative years. There's also a "pay it forward" concept that we're working on, where those who are helped through college will be looked upon to pay it forward and contribute to the fund. Thus, it becomes more self-sustaining. So look for the logo and become a CottonTree Friend!
