Greg Bentley

Born Feb. 16th 1963 in Fayetteville NC Parents Lloyd and Shirley Bentley I have one older brother Rodney Raised in Daleville AL until age 12 Moved to Boone NC in 1974 Sang with my cousins around the Carolinas, Tennessee and Virginia in a group called "The Proclamations" Joined the Christianaires from Burlington NC after graduating from Watauga High School in 1981 In 1984 I joined The Hoppers and moved to Madison NC. I traveled with The Hoppers through 1989. I then joined The Down East Boys and was there until 1993 I then started working at Horizon Records in Asheville NC where I still work during the week when not on the road. I joined Squire in 1995, and left in September 2005. I have recorded four solo recordings which the latest is "Journal Of Grace" releases in August of 2006. I enjoy snow and water skiing, working out in the gym, keeping my car clean and Nascar Racing! My Hobbies are collecting recordings and also Elephants! (Not Real Ones of Course) My Favorite Scripture is Col. 3:16
