Born and raised on a farm north of Havre, Montana, Kerma grew up with a deep love of nature and animals that were abundant around the family farm. In grade school, she discovered a talent for art and would sketch mostly horses and dogs. She eventually branched out doing landscapes and seascapes. Other than taking an art class in high school, Kerma is self-taught. She has won many awards as an artist. Kerma currently resides in Marina del Rey, California. The surrounding beach life inspires her creativity. Her paintings reflect the vital marine wildlife of the area that so desperately needs our appreciation and attention! In her spare time, Kerma likes to ride her bike along the beach, hike with friends, and play golf with her husband and the other avid golfers. Now I've taken my art to a new level by creating products!
