Konga Line

I am an illustrator. My name is Colleen Kong-Savage—yes, as in King Kong was a Savage beast. I used to work at the old mom-n-pop shop, New York Central Art Supplies, and I squirreled away so many papers, my employer collected back all my wages. Some of that paper still appears in my original artwork today (digitally reproduced for this store). I've been developing Konga Line artwork through Greeting Card Universe since 2014. But I want to expand past greeting cards, so I created this online store. Some images were made for GCU, others were drawn from my old blog at kongaline.com. Some images were made for friends, or school posters, or to be shared with inspiring illustration groups on twitter. In 2018 I illustrated my first children's book THE TURTLE SHIP written by Helena Ku Rhee, and a few of those pictures are here as well. It's a personal space. Enjoy!
