Madhattery

I pegged the term Madhattery before other people did because I wanted a word for Dumbfu#$ery that didn't cuss. My friend and I also speak in literary metaphors, a code most people can't break, and Alice in Wonderland is one of our favorites. If you're on the brink of insanity, we might say, "Don't follow the white rabbit. Kick the snot out of him and run the opposite direction." Wonderland is a place for vacations and avoidance, but don't move in permanently. "Wake Up Alice," means reality check. Come back to the real world. If you are looking for a souvenir from the metaphorical wonderland (the absurd, freakishly strange, insanity) then this is your place.
