“Preserving the Alaskan languages & Culture by sharing artwork to help people visualize a traditional way of life.” My English name is Crystal Marie Martin. My traditional names are Naataq and Nasagiluk. I am an Eskimo from the Alaskan Indigenous tribe known as the Inupiaq. I grew up in a community that has been practicing our traditional way of life for thousands of years, and I want to give back by helping to sustain our language and culture with my natural ability to create unique visuals.
