Pascale Calcutt has loved making artwork since she was very young. Originally from Kent, she now resides in the seaside city of Brighton with her husband and pet dog, where her surroundings continue to influence her work. She is especially interested in the medium of oil paint; its versatile and malleable nature allows her to play with an artwork for years before it dries. A mostly self taught artist, she recreates the world around her as she sees it, finding beauty everywhere she looks.
