Welcome to RanMoriArt! I'm Ran Mori (森蘭来), a Japanese illustrator based in Ehime, Japan, working under the pen name morirancru. My work explores the beauty of Japan's Taisho and Showa eras — kimono fashion, mythology, and bronze statue aesthetics — reimagined through a modern digital lens. All illustrations are created on an iPad Pro with Procreate. At the heart of my art is Ran, a recurring character traveling through time from the Taisho to Showa era, dressed in traditional nihongami hairstyle and a cream kimono with a plum-colored obi.
