Ryan Bitinis was born in a small town in New Mexico and grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. His experiences in the desert have given him a distinct appreciation for the scenic views of his adopted home in Southern California. Ryan graduated from Art Center College of Design with a Bachelors of Fine Art in Illustration. While at Art Center, Ryan’s preference for representational art led him to study under instructors Robh Ruppel, Bob Kato, and Rob Spruijt. Prior to attending Art Center, Ryan studied with Phoenix’s premier art instructor, Jim Garrison. Early on, Mr. Garrison helped refine Ryan’s technique through constant criticism and sporadic praise, and at the end of his 4-year tutelage, Ryan had a very clear understanding of his own style.
