Just Around The Corner

When I asked about where to find such an unusual item, my grandmother said to me, "There's that shop Just Around The Corner, they always have interesting and unusual things." I remember staying with my grandmother while both my parents were either working or finishing up college. I was around 10 years old, but I still remember those times vividly. I would come up with all kinds of odd jobs to do for my grandmother, from raking the leaves until dirt was showing, pulling weeds, or sweeping the basement, all for the chance that she would give me some spare change so that I could walk down to the corner store excited to see what I could find. I learned at an early age that hard work pays in benefits and in character, but always has the potential of discovering something interesting and unusual. You never know what you will find, Just Around The Corner.
