Hi! I’m Angelia Hayes! Pronounced Angela. I’m a self-taught artist. I’ve been drawing & painting since I was 10 years old & this year, I will be 63 (2024). My husband of 42 years, Kerry, is my soulmate, biggest fan, & greatest support. We have been together since I was 15. He always says we have 4 bedrooms. I have my painting studio, sewing room, he has his library which is mainly my storage overflow, & we have our room. We also have a 12×12 porch that he’s closed in that he’s been working on. He’s in no hurry because he knows I’m claiming that too. He named me The Achy Artist over me working through my pain! I have moved away from traditional art for the most part since the pain of Fibromyalgia, Degenerative Disc Disease, and Ankylosing Spondylitis has taken a toll on me but I do still dabble on days I feel really good.
