Hi! Thank you for visiting my shop! My name is Whitney and I am an elementary school teacher turned full-time-mom of three awesome kids. I have a passion for organizing, decorating, creating pretty solutions for common eye sores, refinishing outdated pieces into a modern farmhouse-y accent, and using the people I love most in the world as inspiration for artwork. My style vibe is Boho/Modern Farmhouse. The colors, patterns, and overall feel of those styles catalyzes a rush of dopamine in my brain. There is nothing more beautiful to me than rustic wood paired with soft whites and dusty blues...it's basically the color palate of my house. Almost every frame in my house displays a black & white photograph of my kids (I'm also obsessed with photography), scenes of Cape Cod (a.k.a. my "Heaven on Earth"), or a quote that has personal meaning to our family (I love words that can stir your soul). While home full time with the whole family during the COVID-19 Pandemic, I found that spending time creating and organizing was a form of self-care and stress-relief for me. I also have a love of giving personalized and sentimental handmade gifts to the people I love. I'd take the feeling of gifting over the feeling of receiving any day of the week. The Fanwood Farmhouse is my chance to share my love of these things with you.
