The Good Breakup.

I have never felt so excited to tell someone my story. It has been a long one, and a tough one, but I can honestly say that I am so happy it isn't over! In 2017 I was about four years into a relationship that was very abusive from the beginning. That fourth year I had a thought; "If this is how my life will be, I would rather die." The thought of death never phased me. It's what we do. Eventually, we die. But, the thought of wanting to die because of how someone else was making my life experience did not sit well with me. "I'm not ready to die, and I sure as hell am NOT going to continue 'living' my life this way." So, I made changes. I have never been happier, and I know there are many others who feel the same way.
