In Oregon, as in many states, there is a need for licensed mental health professionals. However, there are only a few pathways to licensure. We need to first recognize that in some states (like Oregon), QMHPs ARE Therapists and that there needs to be a pathway to full licensure for them. Let's recognize QMHPs for the work they do and also promote a new pathway towards licensure!
