VICTORIA SALVANO

Beloved Italian American artist Victoria Salvano paints the world the way she sees it; bright, multidimensional, humorous, and at times political. Her work reveals a world full of bright, sometimes startling color, while her attention to detail reveals scenes and vignettes that acknowledge her devotion to art’s great masters and culture. Born in Brooklyn, New York to a large Italian American family, Victoria’s paintings reflect Italian American culture, her travels throughout Europe as well as American cities like her adopted home town of Baltimore, Maryland. In addition to her work as an artist, she is the founder and owner of Butler Gallery a local Baltimore / Hunt Valley institution since 1980. Victoria received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Towson University. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling the world with her sister, and taking care of beloved dog Kashmir.
